Paula Steinsiek
• Lived in Sherwood for 39 years
• Worked in dentistry for 48 years
I have 2 children and 2 grandchildren.
My hobbies are my grandchildren, yard work, and anything crafty. I love traveling and going to my grandchildren's ballgames.
I love making my patients feel at home. We treat you like family. The best reward is my patient walking out with a huge smile on their face.
Dr.Van O' Dell
I am originally from South Arkansas, Ouachita County.
I graduated from the University of Tennessee College of Dentistry in 1972.
I have been practicing in the Central Arkansas area for 52 years.
I have 2 children, 3 grandchildren, and a great-grandson on the way!
I enjoy gardening, DIY projects at my home, and caring for my 6 rescue animals, which I refer to as “my zoo".
At our denture clinic, we do see patients of all ages, but the majority of them are seniors—as am I. It is especially gratifying to help them by giving a beautiful new smile and improving their ability to eat and enjoy their favorite foods.
Our patients are like “family,” and along the way we have acquired so many wonderful friends and acquaintances. That makes coming to work more like “fun time".

"Due to an accident I have had a full set of dentures since my early twenties. I am now 77 and have gone thru many sets in my lifetime. Because of losing my teeth at such an early stage the bones in my mouth have shrunk and I have had a very hard time finding someone who could make me a set that fit. That also made implants out of the question. After three dentists and a dental lab making sets that never fit I had almost given up until I found a jewel among the thorns! I happened to see a sign beside the freeway in Sherwood that said Absolute Denture Clinic and decided to give it one more try. There I found Dr. Van O' dell and, his assistant Paula Steinsiek, two of the nicest, most knowledgeable people I have ever met in a dental office. "Dr. O'Dell and his assistant Paula are "The Best." I'm so thrilled to have been referred to Absolute Denture Clinic. I went hiking last October and fell. I ended up up breaking one of my teeth off and ended up with a bad infection in my leg. After going to two dental clinics, I ended up getting x-rays, cleanings, but to no avail, no tooth.
I then was referred to Dr. O'Dell. I called, Paula, his assistant, ended up setting up an appointment to come in a day later. A few weeks later, I finally had my new tooth. My infection in my leg healed faster than it took to get a new tooth.
